This is the second part of a nine part series. In this series, I will discuss how Mars is depicted in various fictional works such as movies, books, and games.In Part II, I will discuss about the game Doom 3. This game depicts Mars as an experiment gone wrong. The red planet was being invaded by demons and zombies depicting a hell on Mars. These creatures came from a hell portal opened by an ancient Martian race. Doom 3 depicts Martian as an advanced technological race, where some of them fled to Earth after the invasion started; therefore, hinting that humans are descendants of this Martian race.
